Mr. Trpenoski was born on 6th January 1980 in Ohrid, where he completed his primary and secondary education.

He graduated on the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius State University in Skopje in June 2003, majoring in Legal Studies, with an average grade of 9.54 (the maximum grade being 10).

In the course of his legal studies, he took part in two study visits organised in 2000 and in 2001 for the highest achieving students to the M. V. Lomonosov State University in Moscow.

He carried out his legal profession pupillage starting October 2003.

Mr. Trpenoski passed the bar exam in October 2005 and has been a member of the Bar Association of the Republic of Macedonia since December 2005. He is currently working as attorney at law in the TRPENOSKI Law Firm in Skopje.

In January 2004 he passed the professional exam for representatives in protection of industrial property rights, thus obtaining the right to act as a representative in the area of industrial property, and is currently responsible for such representation in the TRPENOSKI Law Firm.

In 2012, following the structural changes in the Law Firm, he was elected member and Vice-president of the Executive Board of the Firm.

In 2009 he enrolled in postgraduate studies in Penal Law and Criminology at the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius State University in Skopje, with an average grade achieved at the examinations 9.75 (10 being the maximum grade awarded). In June 2014 he publicly defended his dissertation entitled “Equality of parties in the criminal procedure” and was awarded with the Master of Science degree (M.Sc) in legal studies in the field of criminal law.

He is a doctoral student at the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius State University in Skopje and is currently writing his doctoral dissertation.

He published several articles in the Macedonian Journal for Criminal Law and Criminology issued by the Association for Criminal Law and Criminology of Macedonia. In Journal no.1 from 2015 was published his article with title “Is there a balance through investigation, in the change of legal qualification and with anonymous witnesses”, in Journal no.2 from 2016 his article named “Does Special prosecutor can win the battle against court decision on exclusion of evidence as gathered illegally” (paper republished in issue no. 2 of 2017), in Journal no.1 from 2017 was published his article with title “Legislative amendments about the penalties – step in the wrong direction”, in Journal no.1 from 2018 his article named “Some inner conflicts in new CPC concerning the evidences” and in Journal no.1-2 from 2021 was published his article named “What the torture, the plea bargaining and the admissibility of illegal evidence have in common”.

Mr Trpenoski participated in several professional debates, conferences, professional counseling, seminars, trainings, workshops and courses about Criminal Law and Procedure, Human Rights Protection and Intellectual Property Rights Protection.

His special interest lies in Criminal Law, Commercial Law, Civil Law, Industrial Property Law and Copyright Law.

At the Law Firm, he is responsible for the Department of Criminal Law, covering Criminal Substantive Law and Proceedings, Juvenile Justice, and Misdemeanour Law and Proceedings and for the Intellectual Property Department, which covers cases related to Industrial Property Rights, Copyrights and Related Rights, and their Protection. He is also Law Firm authorised person for prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism and employees representative on safety and health at work.

He represents a significant number of domestic and foreign natural persons and legal entities in front of courts and other authorities of the Republic of Macedonia, ensuring maximum protection of the rights and interests of the each individual client.

He is proficient in English.
