Mr. Aleksandar Penovski was born on 11th of October 1990 in Skopje, where he completed his primary and secondary education.
He graduated from the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius State University in Skopje in June 2012, majoring in Legal Studies.
Upon graduation, he began his 3 year internship at Law firm Trpenoski where he had been upgrading his practical knowledge and skills.
In 2009 he enrolled in postgraduate studies in Commercial Law at the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius State University in Skopje. In May 2014 he publicly defended his dissertation entitled “Contemporary trends in securities-based lending” and was awarded with the Master of Law (LL.M.) in legal studies in the field of commercial law.
Mr. Penovski passed the Bar Exam in June 2015 and as of October 2015 he is a member of the Bar Association of the Republic of Macedonia.
He is currently working as an attorney at law at the TRPENOSKI Law Firm in Skopje.
His special fields of interest are Civil Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Industrial Property Law and Copyright Law.
He has participated in several seminars, workshops, debates and conferences dedicated to Civil law and Commercial Law.
He is committed to providing high quality comprehensive legal services, and acts in a number of cases in the following areas: bank credits, insurance, telecommunications services, disputes arising from copyrights, as well as disputes for compensation of material and immaterial damages.
At the Law Firm, he is a part of the team responsible for the Department of Criminal Law, covering Criminal Substantive Law and Proceedings, Juvenile Justice, and Misdemeanour Law and Proceedings.
Mr. Penovski is further part of the team responsible for the Intellectual Property Department, which covers cases related to Industrial Property Rights, Copyrights and Related Rights, and their Protection. Within this department, he is part of the team which is responsible for representing clients in this legal area, representing several global renowned companies active in telecommunications, food processing industry, and sports gaming and betting, protecting their trade marks on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.
He represents a significant number of domestic and foreign natural persons and legal entities in front of courts and other authorities of the Republic of Macedonia, ensuring maximum protection of the rights and interests of the each individual client. Among them are world renowned companies, leaders in their branches of telecommunications, banking, natural resources, food processing industry, etc.
He is proficient in the English language.
