Mr. Nikodinovski was born on 1st November 1971 in Ohrid. He lives in Skopje, where he completed his primary and secondary education.

He graduated at the Faculty of Law at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” State University in Skopje in September 1999, majoring in Jurisprudence.

He carried out his legal profession pupillage starting March 2000.

He passed the bar exam in December 2003, and worked for over two years as expert associate with Jovan Trpenoski, Attorney at Law. Since October 2005, he has been a member of the Bar Association of the Republic of Macedonia, and is currently working as attorney at law in the TRPENOSKI Law Firm.

He was awarded a Certificate by the Directorate for Safety of Classified Information of the RM for access to and insight into documents classified pursuant to the Law on Safety of Classified Information as “strictly confidential”.

He is a delegate of the Basic Attorney at Law Association at the Assembly of the Bar Association of the Republic of Macedonia Skopje.

In 2009, Mr. Nikodinovski participated in a workshop on implementation of the Juvenile Justice Law, and he has also completed training in dealing with minors pursuant to the Juvenile Justice Law.

In 2012 he participated in the training on Trial Advocacy Basic Skills on the New Criminal Procedure Code organised by the American Bar Association – Rule of Law Initiative and the Bar Association of the RM.

In 2013 he participated in a Seminar for implementation on the Law on expropriation organized by the Association of the lawyers of RM.

In 2014, Mr. Nikodinovski participated in a workshop on renewable energy resources and energy efficiency organized by the Chamber of commerce of RM.

In 2015 he participated in a panel discussion regarding the implementation of the Law on agricultural land organized by the Chamber of commerce of RM.
In the 2016 he participated in project that required legal opinion regarding the changes in the legislation as well as composing an Initiative of amendments on the Criminal code of RM in front of Ministry of Justice.

In 2017 he participated in in project 00089307 ICT for Urban Resilience that required legal opinion regarding the changes in the legislation regarding the Law on living environment

His special interest lies in the areas of Criminal Law and Commercial Law, and his work in the TRPENOSKI Law Firm focuses on legal affairs in Telecommunications, Energetics, and Mining and Construction.

In the area of energetics, he is involved on behalf of a number of international clients in the implementation of projects aiming at energy efficiency carried out by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia pursuant to the Law on Energetics for construction of plants for utilising renewable energy sources (wind, solar energy, gas and biomass).

As regards mining, he has successfully represented international clients, mostly from EU countries, through participating in the preparation and design of submissions to international public bids announced by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia for the purpose of grant ding concessions for research of mineral ore and exploitation of mineral raw materials. In addition, he has acted on behalf of TRPENOSKI Law Firm’s clients from the EU at a number of public tenders carried out by the Electronic Communications Agency of the RM, bidding for different types of concessions and public procurement.

In recent years, he has represented domestic and foreign clients, whose basic operation lies in construction and manufacturing of construction materials, in a number of disputes in front of the competent courts of the Republic of Macedonia of all instances, in which the total claims collected amount to several million Euros.

As well Mr. Darko Nikodinovski, has been appointed, by the Federal Ministry for Europe, integration and foreign affairs of the Republic of Austria as designated legal counsel of the Austrian Embassy in Skopje.

In addition to other court proceedings, he has taken active part in a number of criminal proceedings related to business issues, which have stirred public interest. A significant achievement in his experience in the area of Criminal Law is the specific and rare case involving both Cannon and Secular Law, as he has represented a client, namely a religious community, in a criminal proceeding, as a representative and applicant on behalf of the damaged party in the course of the entire proceeding against a former senior priest of the respective religious community.

In the Law Firm, he is responsible for the Department of Enforcement, Contractual Law, Real Estate Law, Public Procurement, Concessions, and Construction contracts Pledge Law, Administrative proceedings, Telecommunications, Technology, Energetics, Media and Environment.

He is proficient in English and has command of the French language.
